Beef Empire Days SCA Grill Master Cook-off - Stevens Park -3:00 p.m.
The temperature rises, days are longer, the family spends more time outdoors – it’s grillin’ time in southwest Kansas. Agriculture is the life-blood of our communities, and we celebrate the beef industry during May – Beef month, and Beef Empire Days the first week in June. Here is the chance to prove your skills and capture the title of “Beef Empire Days SCA Grill Master”. Rocking M Media has partnered with Klaus Wood Pellets & Outdoor Store and Western State Bank, with an event to spotlight the amazing beef that we raise and process. The cook-off is part of BEEF, BEER & BOOTS, Stevens Park, Saturday, June 6. The park will be lined with food trucks, beer garden, and live music. The cook-off is a STEAK COOKOFF ASSOCIATION sanctioned event. All details on registration, cooking rules and pay-out are available on line at steakcookoffs.com.
